"Visitor Fields" Section

In this section of the Buttons and Locations settings item, you can edit the categories of visitor data to be entered. You can choose which data the visitor should enter at the beginning of the dialog and enter your own names for them.

By default, the system provides three field categories:

  • Name: field for the visitor's name

  • Phone: field for the visitor's cell phone number

  • Email: field for the visitor's e-mail address.

In addition to these, there are three Custom fields that can be used to request any additional data from the visitor. We strongly discourage you from changing the assignment of custom fields after you start using them, as this may cause confusion when displaying visitor fields in the history.

Warning!

Due to their universal nature, custom fields do not have any validation in the current version.

N.B.

In the current version, user fields are common to all locations due to technical limitations of the system.

For each data category, you can choose whether it is presence for the visitor to enter it in the corresponding field:

  • Required: the data that the visitor must enter.

  • Optional: data that the visitor can choose not to enter.

  • None: the field is not available to be filled in
