Status Selection

In the current version of Chat Platform, the following set of basic default statuses are supported:

  • Online
  • Invisible
  • Lunch Time
  • Before lunch
  • Personal break
  • Offline
  • Offline Processing

In addition, the following statuses can be added as well:

  • Technical break
  • In training
  • In a meeting
  • Short break

The available set of statuses for a particular account is regulated by the corresponding tariff option. In case you cannot edit the set of statuses, please contact Chat Platform technical support.

To change your status, click the arrow next to the word Online in the header of any administrative interface page.

Change Status

Status allows visitors and colleagues to see the agent's work mode.

Functionally, the Invisible, Lunch, Personal Break, Technical Break, Training, Meeting and Short Break statuses are equivalent from the point of view of chat distribution logic and differ only in the name, but not in service behavior. These statuses allow the agent to show the visitor that he is unable to take new chats or answer existing ones.

Information about how long the agent was in a specific status is saved in the system and displayed in the statistics module in the usage time report.
