User redirect to another site

Sometimes, it's hard for a user to find the information or functionality they need on a website. A Chat Platform service agent can determine what the visitor requires and redirect them to the necessary page, which will open on its own, without their involvement.

Principle of user redirect

The page redirect allows the agent to redirect the user to the desired URL during the chat with them.

How it works:

  1. The visitor and agent communicate in the chat on the Chat Platform.

  2. When the agent understands which page of the site the user is searching for, they press the blue redirect button , located to the right of the page address being viewed by the visitor in the Open Pages section:

  1. The URL field opens. In it, the agent enters the required redirect address (for example, https://examples.com/login) and presses the green redirect button.

  2. After that, the necessary page opens in the user's browser on the same tab.
