Automatic Invitations

At this stage, the administrator edits the list of automatic invitations on the Automatic Invitations page.

The automatic invitations feature allows you to grow your potential client base even during non-working hours when none of your agents are online.

  1. Go to the General menu. The Automatic Invitations page will open in your browser.

  2. On this page, select the Automatic Invitations, text, and settings that you want to edit, and press the Edit button. If you haven't created additional automatic invitations, click the Add new invitation button. You can create multiple automatic invitations—for example, one for each section of the site, department, and/or language.

  3. The Automatic Invitations page will open. Fill in the following fields:

    • Invitation text: Type the text that will appear in the graphic block that will show up on the user's page.

    • Invitation name: Specify the internal name for the automatic invitation, which will be displayed in the list.

    • Agents online: If you are working with an automatic invitation for lead generation, select Show when no agents are online.

      If you are working with an automatic invitation that should offer help from an online agent, select Show when agents are available.

      You can also choose option Show always, and this automatic invitation will trigger in both cases.

    • Number of Repeats: Specify the maximum number of times the system can display this automatic invitation to a specific user during a single session. Enter 0 to remove this limitation.

    • Conditions: Configure one or more conditions under which this automatic invitation will be presented to the user. You have access to three types of conditions:

      • Visited page: Enter the URL of your site's page that will trigger the automatic invitation. It will activate if the user views this page longer than the minimum time specified in the field to the right (enter 0 to remove the time restriction and display the automatic invitation immediately).

      • Time on Site: Enter the total time a specific user spends on your site during a single session. This automatic invitation will activate when this value is reached.

      • Number of pages: Enter the total number of pages requested by the user from your site during one session. This automatic invitation will activate when this value is reached.

  4. Click the Save button.
