Agent Profile Editing
Agent's personal settings can be edited on the Agent Properties page by going to it via the Profile link in the toolbar or the Agents link in the sidebar (the latter action is only available to supervisors and administrators):
In the agent profile editing menu, there are four tabs present:
- General
- Password
- Templates
- Additional
- Time schedule
The General tab contains the following settings:
- Internal name. Setting the internal name in the system, under this name you will be seen by other agents, administrators and supervisors. Can contain up to 64 characters. A required field.
- Visible name. In the system Chat Platform there is the possibility to set two names for the user. One of them - internal - has already been described above. The name visible to visitors may be different from the internal name, but by default the internal name and the name visible to visitors are identical. The name visible to visitors can contain up to 30 characters.
- Employee's email address. In this field, the email address used for authorization is set. The email address will be used to send notifications about new chats and messages.
- Sorting Order. Sorting order determines the priority distribution of agents when receiving a message from a visitor.
- Upload photo. Select a photo that will be displayed to the visitor when chatting.
In the Password tab, the agent can change the password of their account in the system.
In the Templates tab, the agent can create personal communication templates for themselves. You can learn more about templates in this article.
In the Additional tab, the agent only has the option to enable/disable notifications about new visitors on the website.
